We have an irrevocable, biological, spiritual and life-giving connection with water

It is a sobering reality that while billions lack access to safely managed drinking water, in many places it is a resource we take for granted.  In the USA, this paradox is no less stark, with millions lacking basic access to running water while others consume more than any other country in the world.

These disparities underscore my commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. I believe clean, safe drinking water, food and sanitation are fundamental human rights. 

My work is not just about appreciating the fine details of water, but about being a force for good and working to create a kinder, more just, and equitable world,

 one drop at a time.

Every Drop Counts!

My professional background is as diverse as the waters I study. I hold a bachelor's in Communications and a master's in Ethnic Studies, and I enjoyed a lengthy career in documentary film production, an experience that honed my ability to tell compelling stories. My formal water education includes a Water Studies Certificate from Metro State University and a Water Center Certificate from Columbia University, with a focus on private sector risk assessment.

I am also an active member of several communities dedicated to water, including the international Water Sommelier Union, the Balneology Association of North America (BANA), and the World Water Community.

You can often find me in the southwestern United States, where I spend my time learning about water, soaking in hot springs, enjoying boutique eateries, and exploring obscure wonders of art, culture, history and nature. My greatest joy is sharing stories and laughs with family and friends, over an artisanal beverage.
