Even today, millions lack access to safe drinking water while others take it for granted. Clean water, food, and sanitation are fundamental human rights. For me, appreciating fine spring and mineral waters goes
hand in hand with advocating
for water justice, equity, and stewardship across the globe.

I’m Anistacia Barber, a certified Water Sommelière trained at Germany’s prestigious Doemens Academy. As one of the first Americans and Colorado's premier water sommelière, I help elevate water from a basic offering to a rich, sensory culinary experience.
My background spans documentary filmmaking, a master's degree in ethnic studies, and dedicated work with the Balneology Association of North America. Together, these experiences allow me to explore water through a rare mix of human story, mineral science, and cultural heritage.
